entered into rest on Sunday, January 29,
2012.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Jackie McGowan; daughter & son-in-law, Kathryn & Joe Palmer; granddaughter, Ryleigh Palmer all of Lawrenceville, GA; 2 sisters, 4 brothers, mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family received friends on Thursday, February 2, 2012 at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. A Memorial Service Celebrating the Life of Jerry McGowan was be held Friday, February 3, 2012 at McKendree United Methodist Church, 1570 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30043 with Dr. Ed Wadsworth and Pastor Diego Orsini officiating. Those desiring may make donations to the American Diabetes Association or McKendree United Methodist Church in memory of Jerry McGowan.
