Robert E. Lee H.S. Graduate Co-Stars in
“The Lance Krall Show”

'91 Lee graduate Sarah Baker co-stars in SpikeTV’s new sketch comedy show, “The Lance Krall Show.” The show features sketches as well as a mix of unscripted bits and pranks including man-on-the-street segments and crank calls, most of which incorporate an arsenal of characters created by the cast.

Sarah had the privilege of performing at Lee under the direction of many talented teachers and directors including Skip Maiden, Melissa Mahaffey, Peggy Hecklinger and Kathie West.  It was with this strong background at Lee that Sarah set off for James Madison University where she double-majored in Theatre and English. While attending JMU, she was involved in every aspect of theatrical production and was also accepted into Cillia, an improv comedy group.

After graduation, she moved to Atlanta and started working with Whole World Theatre, a theatre featuring both scripted works and improv comedy.  There she met Lance Krall, the creator of the current television show, along with the rest of the cast. They worked together for several years before Lance packed up and moved to Los Angeles .  After landing a role in the feature film, “ Sweet Home Alabama ,” Sarah did the same.  There, Lance led the members of the group in making a pilot presentation of the sketch comedy show which resulted in eight episodes for SpikeTV.

Of her experiences at Lee, Sarah says:  "After living around the country, I realize how lucky I was to get such an amazing and broad education in Fairfax County . I really found my love of acting in school plays, so who knows what would have happened if I'd gone to a school with no interest in fostering the arts."

“The Lance Krall Show” airs on SpikeTV on Mondays at 11:00 pm starting April 18th.  The show airs also at 10:00 pm on Thursdays
