As a West Point alumnus, Dave began a tour in
Vietnam
on June 6, 1967 as an Aide-de-Camp.
He perished during his second tour when hit
by hostile gunfire in
Quang Duc Province,
South Vietnam.
Dave was 24.
He rests at the U.S. Military Academy at
West Point,
New York.
